Hello all! I've been on vacation since my husband's return from Iraq. The vacation is over and we are busy booking weddings. VT-Productions is a St Louis based musical entertainment company promoting several groups from a solo guitarist, to a 19-piece big band, The Original Knights of Swing. Their latest venture “Wack-A-Doo” is a new and unique sound to the St Louis music scene. It’s "American Musette" style of music featuring Vintage Swing and Speak Easy from the jazz age tunes. They play for anyone from art festivals and farmers markets to corporate events and private parties. - After eight years as a Human Resource Professional, I decided to turn my part time hobby of event planning into a full time job. During my stint in Corporate America, I enjoyed stepping outside of my job description and using my creative energy to plan, organize and design many of my company's functions. I have been recognized many times over for my efforts, the most rewarding was when I was named United Way Coordinator of the Year. My love for weddings in particular developed at a young age. My father was a photographer, and as a little girl I attended dozens of weddings; while my dad captured the moments on film, I captured them in my head, observing the infinite number of small but significant details that turn an ordinary wedding into a flawless wedding day. Those early years seeded my passion for coordinating and designing weddings, and in the last ten years I have had the pleasure of nurturing that passion and sharpening my skills. Not not only did I design and coordinate my own wedding, but I have also had the pleasure of creating the perfect wedding day for several happy couples.
